Users of Meta’s various apps will soon have more options for sharing content. For example, it will be possible to link WhatsApp with Facebook and Instagram.
Until recently, there were various applications from different providers, but now there are several under one roof. This is also the case with Meta. For users, this can result in a number of advantages for everyday use. For example, the company wants to make it possible to link WhatsApp with Facebook and Instagram soon.
How to Link WhatsApp with Facebook and Instagram
In a recent announcement, Meta says that users will soon be able to add their WhatsApp account to the so-called Accounts Center. The company introduced this in 2020, and it allows user profiles to be linked to multiple apps.
The popular messenger is now set to join this connected universe, allowing users to link WhatsApp with Facebook and Instagram, among others. There is currently no specific date for the release of the new function. However, Meta says that the new feature will be rolled out “over the next few months.” When the time comes, you will find the option in the settings. Or it will appear when you try to carry out an action across platforms.

Share Status Easily Across All Apps
Meta emphasizes that the WhatsApp account is separate from other apps and that no one can change this. Integration into the Accounts Center will remain purely optional and will be deactivated by default. Interested parties must, therefore, make a conscious decision to do so.
Once this step has been taken, they will be able to share content from WhatsApp with Facebook and Instagram seamlessly and conveniently. For example, it will be possible to upload your own status update in all three apps at once instead of having to do this step three times separately. The login process should also be faster, thanks to the central Accounts Center.
Linking WhatsApp with Facebook and Instagram should pay off in the long term. Meta promises more functions in the future that users can use across the board. This should include the ability to manage their own avatars or sticker creations in one place.
